An old queen of the river floats on the grand Mississippi River in Natchez, Mississippi
Established by French colonists in 1716, Natchez is one of the oldest cities on the Mississippi River. In fact, it’s over a hundred years older than the actual Capital of Mississippi, Jackson. Natchez lies at the end of the historic Natchez Trace and played an important role in most riverboat captains who worked the great river.
