At 10:30p.m., a line wrapped around a building in downtown Dallas means only one thing… night club. Here is the line outside of one where admittance was very slow for patrons but good for me.
This was a very last minute shot taken on the way home after a long journey in and around Dallas. I saw this shot as I was trying to make it back to the freeway. I told Chris, “I thought I saw a cool shot of that nightclub back there” and when we ventured back to it, I still saw the image I’d seen, and I think I captured it here. This was shot on a tripod from across the street, using a slow exposure time and my telephoto lens. It really compacted the background here and made the colors pop.
