Ray Of Hope

This was a Hurricane Katrina remnant that broke loose and drifted in the bay for weeks. Finally, it made ashore in Biloxi, and I became obsessed with shooting it. I proceeded to shoot this subject on 3 separate full moons spanning 3 months time. This was from the first full moon and was “marred” by quickly moving clouds from an approaching storm.

The image I wanted was to be cloud-free and smooth seas and the moon in a different position. Unfortunately it would take me three months to obtain that shot, which is located in this gallery as well.
