In The Sky With Diamonds

My first visit to Utah’s Valley of the Gods and I was simply stunned at the beautiful scenery and scenery that often goes unnoticed or little known by most. It’s not a big name place, like Utah’s other parks and areas, but VOG is as pretty as most and it’s much more quiet with only occasional people to be found out here. On this night in early January, I froze my butt off, because I couldn’t build too large of a fire or it would interfere with my exposures. This shot is made from a 100 image stack of 25second exposures.

Be sure to view the episode of “Behind The Shot” that explains how this shot was made.
