Crude Addiction

It was a full moon this evening and I was struggling with capturing shots of this 56 Chevy. As I was walking around the car I noticed that the full moon which was just shy of the middle of the sky, was casting a very neat shadow towards the car. I then decided to find a way to mount the camera into the tree. By using the tripod legs as balancing beams on the trees branches, I started to see a framing that I really liked. I then used my 17 TS-E lens to shift the focus so that the foreground shadow and the car were both in focus. I left a bit of the branch visible in the top of the frame in order to help connect the shadows. I hope you like it as much as I do, as this is one of my favorite shots.
