Monarch Sunset

I had been here all afternoon trying to find a good spot for the evening's sunset. I never did find a spot that I really liked and as the sunset was beginning to fade, I started making my way back to the car. Suddenly, I noticed this monarch butterfly who was just hanging out and waiting for me to take his photo. He was even patient enough for me to change lenses and break out a flash for some fill lighting.
