I’ve never really had a bad night in Arches. Sure, I’ve had bad weather and extreme cold but this place always has an answer for it with it’s sheer beauty. Such a unique place and one of my favorites.
A wonderful formation dubbed “mushroom rock” in the middle of nowhere, Kansas. Yes, I typed that correctly, Kansas. Here I used the light pollution on the horizon to play with the contrasting milky way above it.
Spent 2 nights here in the Bisti Badlands. This place is bizarre during the day, but at night it becomes an even odder place.
One of the most other-wordly places I’ve ever been to, the Bisti Badlands, deep in New Mexico.
Unusual stone formations, a forbidding area to be sure – The Wahweap Hoodoos are a special place. Standing here, you feel as if you’re standing on the surface of Mars.
