Spin The Night

Spin The Night

As many of you know, I have a thing for old windmills. I found this one by accident along a dark stretch of open road in the middle of Texas. I’d pulled over to use the err.. restroom, when I noticed this eery sounds coming from the other side of the road. As I approached, I realized it was an old windmill spinning in the late night winds. As it was very dark, I had to light the windmill in order for it to be seen at all. However, I hated all of my attempts at lighting it. When a passing car went by, I saw that it lit up the windmill perfectly. Great, I thought… now I just need another car to drive by! After thinking long and hard about how I could drive by myself and trigger the camera, I was in luck as another car approached and I got my shot, which you see here.
