These are part of a road-side art display outside of a little town in North Texas. To this day, nobody knows who the actual artist is. These “Moonflowers” are actually old Pratt Whitney engines from an airplane, mounted on old oil field pipes. I’d shot this scene a few times but I’ve always had very nasty weather here every time. On this evening, the skies were clear and I was able to capture part of the Milky Way rising above them.
