I stood in awe as I watched the steely southern skies of Utah on this dark winter night.
The deafening silence forced thoughts of wonder and secretly I hoped the night would never end.
I could only watch and record the evening through time-lapse – capturing two halves of the galaxy colliding over an unnamed formation in Utah’s Valley of the Gods.
This is a composite image of over sixty, 25-sec exposures taken consecutively and then “stacked” to produce star trails. I hope you like this image as much as I do, as this is one of my all-time favorites.
